Ogawa Coffee

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This past weekend while traveling in Boston I came across Ogawa Coffee. Ogawa Coffee is located at 10 Milk St. It's not a far walk from Boston Common, so it was a great place to stop for a coffee break.

Inside is a modern, clean, Japanese coffee shop. Their drink menu is simple yet delicious. They offer different food items too, ranging from pastries to a continental breakfast or lunch items. While they did not offer the cheapest cup of coffee, I did think the coffee was delicious and worth the money.

After staring at the menu, I decided I would get the Mocha and a Banana Nut Muffin. Ogawa offered to warm up the muffin and I'm glad they did. A few minutes later I was delivered a nice warm muffin. It wasn't too hot or too cold, just right. Also, the muffin was not dry after being heated up, something I've experienced at other cafes. Shortly after my muffin was brought over, they brought over my mocha. The latte art on top was beautiful! I'm always a sucker for latte art... I've seen pictures on Yelp of other beverages from Ogawa that had very detailed latte art and hope to get a cup like that the next time I visit. I think I just need to order a different drink.

As for how the food tasted, it was great! The muffin was nice and moist, had a great banana flavor, but also had nutty flavors too. The mocha was also wonderful. The drink was not loaded with sugar like other mochas I've had. I was still able to taste the great coffee, but also got the nice hints and tastes of chocolate.
